The English Equestrian club at Syracuse University competes in Zone 2, Region 2 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). We accept all levels of undergraduate riders from walk/trot through 2'6"+ fences. Our team, generally comprised of 12-17 students from Syracuse University as well as SUNY ESF, rides weekly with our coach Denise VanPatten. VanPatten is the head coach at Smoke Tree Farm in Baldwinsville, NY.

We've been part of Syracuse University for over 15 years, riding and competing at a registered club sport. Our club thrives on the dedication of our members, the passion of our coach and our strong team spirit. Above all, it is our love of horses and the sport that unifies us.
